To travel there independently you can also rent a motorbike, but make sure that you’re very good at driving it as roads are not often smooth so it can be difficult for inexperienced people. If you don’t want to drive yourself then find one of your friends who has a motorbike or try Couchsurfing, if someone is staying there already, then they will most likely be able to arrange something for you too.
